Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked short-grain rice
- 2 cups prepared japchae (stir-fried glass noodles)
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1 cup julienned spinach
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4 fried eggs
- 4 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 4 tablespoons sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Prepare the japchae and set aside.
- Blanch the julienned carrots, spinach, and bean sprouts in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, divide the cooked rice among 4 serving bowls.
- Arrange the japchae, blanched vegetables, and fried eggs on top of the rice in each bowl.
- Drizzle each bowl with gochujang and sesame oil.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Before eating, mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
