Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp thyme, dried
  • 1 tbsp allspice, ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, green onions, garlic, thyme, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the pork chunks to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork chunks and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Remove from heat and let the pork rest for a few minutes before serving.
