Ingredients
- 2 cups yogurt
- 4 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2-3 dried red chilies
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 2 cups water
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, gram flour, turmeric powder, and water until smooth.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dried red chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the seeds crackle.
- Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan and bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the soup thickens.
- Season with salt and serve hot with rice or roti.
