Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Momo dough by mixing all-purpose flour, water, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rest.
  2. Prepare the Momo filling by mixing ground meat, finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic, cilantro, spices, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the Momo dough and fill each wrapper with a spoonful of the meat mixture. Seal the edges to form dumplings.
  4. Prepare the Jhol by cooking tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic, cilantro, spices, and salt in a pot. Add chicken or vegetable broth and let it simmer.
  5. Steam the Momos in a steamer for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve the steamed Momos in a bowl and pour the hot Jhol over them. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
