Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve hot.
