Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 8 oz pheasant meat, thinly sliced
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the beaten eggs and scramble until just set. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in the same wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced pheasant meat and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked rice to the wok and toss everything together.
  8. Drizzle the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the rice. Sprinkle with white pepper.
  9. Add the scrambled eggs back into the wok and toss to combine.
  10. Season with salt to taste and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  11. Transfer the Golden Pheasant Fried Rice to a serving platter and serve hot.
