Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 8 oz pheasant meat, thinly sliced
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the beaten eggs and scramble until just set. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in the same wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced pheasant meat and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice to the wok and toss everything together.
- Drizzle the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the rice. Sprinkle with white pepper.
- Add the scrambled eggs back into the wok and toss to combine.
- Season with salt to taste and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the Golden Pheasant Fried Rice to a serving platter and serve hot.
