Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced hotdogs
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato paste
- 1 cup banana ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat the cooking oil and sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add the sliced hotdogs and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, banana ketchup, and water. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
- Stir in the butter and grated cheese until well incorporated.
- Place a serving of spaghetti on a plate and top with the sweet meat sauce. Sprinkle with additional grated cheese if desired.
