Ingredients

  • 500g mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and tender.
  6. Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot.
