Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté the onion, bell peppers, and snap peas until they are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for another minute.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the Kacho hot with steamed rice.
