Kacho (marshallese Style Pork Stir-fry)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork and stir-fry until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
