Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add the soy sauce and chili paste, then stir to combine.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Add the rice noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  7. Return the beef to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in the green onions and remove from heat.
