Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, sugar, and flour.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the coconut milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow the kadu to cool before slicing and serving.
