Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, honey, melted butter, almond extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the top of the cake.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
