Ingredients

  • 2 medium raw mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine the chopped raw mangoes, jaggery, and water. Bring it to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes until the raw mangoes are soft.
  2. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, blend the mixture to a smooth puree.
  4. Add roasted cumin powder and black salt to the puree and mix well.
  5. Strain the mixture to remove any fibers or chunks.
  6. Refrigerate the strained mixture for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve the chilled Kairi Panha in glasses with ice cubes.
