Kakake (solomon's Sweet And Spicy Tofu)

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the bell pepper and onion until tender.
  5. Return the tofu to the pan and pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the tofu and vegetables with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
