Kakamora Tart (papaya And Lime Tart)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups ripe papaya, diced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon lime zest
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the tart crust for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool.
- In a saucepan, combine the papaya, granulated sugar, lime juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the lime zest and let the filling cool slightly.
- Pour the papaya filling into the tart crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
