Ingredients
- 500g fresh egg noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons lard or vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- Chopped spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the fresh egg noodles in a pot of water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the lard or vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced shallots, and stir-fry until fragrant and golden brown.
- Add the boiled noodles to the wok, followed by the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper.
- Toss and stir the noodles until they are evenly coated with the sauce and heated through.
- Transfer the noodles to serving plates and garnish with chopped spring onions.
