Ingredients

  • 500g fresh crab meat
  • 1 cup semolina (rava)
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the crab meat thoroughly and drain the water.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Coat the marinated crab meat with semolina (rava) and shallow fry in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the fried crab from the pan and place it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and onion rings.
