Ingredients
- 500g squid, cleaned and cut into rings
- 1 cup semolina (rava)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the squid with red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
- Next, add the tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Add the marinated squid and cook for 5-7 minutes until the squid is tender.
- In a separate pan, dry roast the semolina until it turns golden brown.
- Coat the cooked squid with the roasted semolina and shallow fry until crispy and golden on both sides.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
