Kangaroo Sausage Rolls (袋鼠肉香肠卷)

Ingredients
- 500g kangaroo mince
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a large bowl, mix together the kangaroo mince, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet in half to make 8 rectangles.
- Divide the kangaroo mixture into 4 portions and shape each portion into a long sausage shape along the length of each pastry rectangle.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg, then roll the pastry around the kangaroo mixture, sealing the edges.
- Cut each roll into 3 smaller rolls and place them on a lined baking tray, seam side down.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining beaten egg.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the filling is cooked through.
- Allow the kangaroo sausage rolls to cool slightly before serving.
