  • 200g medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons shrimp paste (petis udang)
  • 4 shallots, finely sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  4. Add the shrimp paste and sugar, stir well to combine.
