Kaozi Ji (spicy Diced Chicken)

Ingredients
- 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cumin powder, chili powder, and salt, and stir to coat the chicken evenly.
- Pour in the soy sauce and water, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
