Ingredients

  • 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cumin powder, chili powder, and salt, and stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and water, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
