Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh crab, cleaned and cracked
- 2 large taro roots, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 6 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the crab and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and turmeric, then add the diced taro roots.
- Pour in the water and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if needed, then serve hot.
