Ingredients

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the pork shoulder over medium heat.

- Stir in the sauerkraut, split peas, chicken broth, and bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
