Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan.
- Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Then, add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until they change color.
- Now, add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and the oil separates.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
