Karachi Chicken Tikka (کراچی چکن ٹکہ)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Skewers for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers.
  4. Heat oil in a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium heat.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has charred edges.
