Ingredients
- 500g beef, thinly sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, red chilies, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned.
- Stir in turmeric, coriander, and cumin powder.
- Pour in coconut milk and add lemongrass stalk. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
