Ingredients
- 500g lamb, cut into chunks
- 2 onions, finely chopped

- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cardamom pods
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 400ml coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the lamb chunks and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in the tomatoes, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder.
- Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender.
- Season with salt to taste.
