Ingredients
- 3 cups grated cassava
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, grated coconut, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, coconut milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the cassava mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the pone is golden brown and set in the middle.
- Allow the pone to cool before slicing and serving.
