कश्मीरी पालक पनीर (Kashmiri Palak Paneer) is a traditional Kashmiri dish that combines the goodness of spinach with the richness of paneer, creating a flavorful and nutritious meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups spinach, washed and chopped
- 200g paneer, cubed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the chopped spinach and cook until it wilts.
- Add the cubed paneer and garam masala. Mix gently and cook for another 5 minutes.
- कश्मीरी पालक पनीर (Kashmiri Palak Paneer) is ready to be served hot with roti or rice.
