Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
