Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
