Ingredients

  • 2 cups taro, peeled and diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, cook the taro in coconut milk over medium heat until tender. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Once the taro mixture is ready, remove from heat and blend until smooth. Return to the saucepan.
  4. Reheat the mixture and add the bloomed gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into ramekins or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. To serve, unmold the panna cotta onto plates and enjoy!
