Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, pepper, kecap manis, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let the kebabs rest for a few minutes before serving.
