Kebap (spiced Lamb Kebabs)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a sausage shape around a wooden skewer.
  3. Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the kebabs for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Serve the kebabs hot with your choice of side dishes.
