Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 large potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 12 samosa wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Stir in the diced potatoes, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef and potato mixture in the center. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, sealing the edges with a little water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Fry the samosas in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the samosas from the oil and drain on paper towels.
