Kerala Style Beef Fry

Ingredients

  • 500g beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add sliced onions. Sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add minced ginger, garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  4. Add sliced beef and cook until it changes color.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until the beef is tender.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala and adjust salt to taste. Cook for a few more minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
