Keropok Lekor Fiesta

Ingredients

  • 500g fish fillets
  • 200g sago flour
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • Ice water

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the fish fillets until smooth.
  2. Transfer the fish paste to a large bowl and add sago flour, minced garlic, salt, and white pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add ice water gradually and mix until the mixture becomes a thick paste.
  4. Shape the mixture into small cylindrical shapes and set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Fry the shaped fish mixture in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove the fried keropok lekor and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with chili sauce or sweet chili sauce.
