Ingredients
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron threads
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, soak the saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm milk for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk over medium heat.
- Once the milk is hot, add the saffron milk, sugar, and cardamom powder. Stir well.
- Let the milk simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off the heat and pour the saffron milk into serving cups.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
