Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  2. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet, then add the sliced peppers, onions, and garlic.
  5. Cook the vegetables until they are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Return the sausage to the skillet and add the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to combine all the ingredients.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
