Ingredients
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix besan, yogurt, turmeric powder, ginger paste, green chili paste, and salt.
- Gradually add water to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a non-stick pan and cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens.
- Spread the cooked mixture thinly on a flat surface and let it cool.
- Cut the cooled mixture into strips and carefully roll each strip to form sushi-like rolls.
- In a small pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Once they crackle, pour the tempering over the khandvi sushi rolls.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
