Ingredients
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 8-10 corn tortillas
- 1 cup salsa
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix besan, yogurt, turmeric, ginger paste, green chili paste, and salt to make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a non-stick pan and cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens.
- Spread the mixture thinly on a greased surface and let it cool. Cut into strips.
- Roll the khandvi strips inside the corn tortillas to make tacos.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Once they splutter, pour the tempering over the khandvi tacos.
- Top with salsa and chopped cilantro before serving.
