Khashir Bhaja (crispy Fried Mutton)

Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to make a marinade.
- Add the mutton pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated mutton pieces and fry until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the fried mutton from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Khashir Bhaja hot with rice or naan.
