Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, boiled, peeled, and cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/4 cup sev (crispy chickpea noodles)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled and cubed potatoes, chopped onion, tomato, and green chili.
  2. Add tamarind chutney, mint-coriander chutney, chaat masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, black salt, and salt to taste. Gently toss everything together until the potatoes are well coated with the chutneys and spices.
  3. Divide the potato mixture into serving plates. Sprinkle sev on top and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  4. Serve the Khatta Aloo Chaat immediately and enjoy the tangy and spicy flavors!
