Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 20 dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground coriander, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the lamb and potato mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
- Bring the edges of the wrapper together and twist to seal, creating a pleated, hat-like shape.
- Boil the dumplings in a large pot of salted water for about 10 minutes, until they float to the surface and the meat is cooked through.
- Remove the dumplings from the water and serve hot.
