Ingredients

  • 500g smoked pork, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mustard greens, chopped
  • 3-4 green chilies, slit
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the smoked pork cubes, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped mustard greens and mix well. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  5. Pour in water as needed to create a gravy-like consistency. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the pork is tender.
  6. Once the pork is cooked and the gravy has thickened, remove from heat.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
