Ingredients
- 500g smoked pork, cut into cubes
- 2 cups chopped mustard greens
- 1 cup sliced bamboo shoots
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Water
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the smoked pork cubes and cook until they are slightly browned.
- Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the sliced bamboo shoots and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in enough water to cover the pork and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the pork is tender.
- Add the chopped mustard greens and green chilies. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice.
