Kimchi Mandu Guk (김치만두국)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pack mandu (dumplings)
  • 6 cups water or broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine water or broth, chopped kimchi, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the ground pork and green onions to the pot. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the mandu (dumplings) to the pot and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
