Kiwi Delight (Pāmu Pāmu)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of cold water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and 1/4 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Once the mixture is hot, but not boiling, stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the cold water until smooth. Gradually whisk the cornstarch mixture into the cream mixture.
  4. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
  5. Remove from heat and pour into serving dishes. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
