Kiwi Lamb and Mint Burger (Parāoa Whakarite)

Ingredients

  • 500g ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and additional mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground lamb, chopped mint, red onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Heat a stovetop grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
