Ingredients
- 1 Pāua (abalone) shell, cleaned and prepared
- 1 pre-made pizza dough
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sliced red onions
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit the size of the Pāua shell.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then arrange the onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives on top.
- Place the Pāua shell in the center of the pizza.
- Season with salt and pepper, then transfer the pizza to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
