Ingredients

  • 1 Pāua (abalone) shell, cleaned and prepared
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit the size of the Pāua shell.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then arrange the onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives on top.
  5. Place the Pāua shell in the center of the pizza.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer the pizza to the preheated oven.
